Berthing

The v-berth is large. Two can sleep fore and aft or athwartships, the length in either case being over 6’6”. The v-berth can be configured for one large double or two singles.

The aft end of the main cabin can be closed off to make a private stateroom. There are two sofa beds which can be used as doubles or slid together for a king size bed. The aft sleeping area also has a private head.

Four can sleep topside as there are four large seats which can be used as berths, utilizing futons or inflatable mattresses. On several cruises we have slept 10 with no problem, younguns up, old people down - we like it and our kids and their friends like the separate living quarters.

Tanks (#/Material): 2/stainless, 120 gals ea., 1 plastic (potable), 40 gals. Total Capacity: 280 gals
Water Heater:110 Electric & engine heat exchanger
Pump(s): Flojet 12 VDC
Showers (2): (1) in forward cabing, large and airy and light with plenty of water flow and pressure. Room enough for a 220
pounder to shower easily. I hate small showers that dribble. This one is a delight. (2) On the aft bulkhead is a hot and
cold shower, much the preferred shower in warm weather, especialy by kids after swimming and snorkling. Meridian
Passage has a large stern platform which is great for swimming and makes it easy to board from in the water or a dinghy.

Sanitary System
All new
Toilets (2): Forward head and main cabin
Holding Tanks: (2) with separate macerators and pumps. In other words, with ever tightening sanitation laws, Meridian Passage should be in compliance for a long time, as the holding system is large enough to accommodate four people for a week or more with no limitations, and four people for two weeks plus with a little common sense.
